Implementing a Star Trek Economy

The Federation has a economic utopia. On Terra, war and poverty have been eliminated. Individuals strive for self-betterment rather than fiscal remuneration. This condition extends throughout the Federation and therefore there is no currency.Implementing a global holistic Star Trek economy, here on Earth, that is based on the needs of mankind and not the acquisition of wealth. Where our incentives would lie in bettering ourselves and those around us. Where we would live beyond the need for money, politics, poverty, war, national border and social stratification.

Through technological abundance and automation of labor this is not just feasible, but rather easy to attain. And with an educated population the transition to such a society would be much smoother when the predicted economic collapse, which is seemingly looming upon us, breaks out.It will take a disaster to bring humanity out of their current paradigm, and to wake them up. Another large economic collapse is coming. It is looming over us.

The fallowing video discusses the economic callapse and the proof of it ocurring.

The Old World Order have properly planed and orginized this event. They will be safe and out of harms way while we end up suffering from the consequences of their actions.The global Elite will still be rich, enjoying their private lifestyle, dining on fancy food, wearing fancy clothes,ect. However this will not last very long, as long as the people stick together and finally unite to defeat our oppressors.The callapse may be coming, however this doesn't mean that it is the end of the world, it just means that this is a new begining for humanity. It will be the start of a brighter future known as the New World Order.

The New World order is discribed in the fallowing links below.

 The new world order will not be an oppressive one, but rather it shall be a peaceful one. The New World Order will be a meritocratic society with a resource based economy as the future economic model. Along with that there will be a new one world religion, known as illuminism, as well as other ancient religions, such as Gnostism, pythagoreanism, self enlightenment,ect.

The New World is going to arrive, but before it arrive we must be prepared for the economic callapse, generated by the Old World Order. We must all stick together and stand up to the world threat!  In order to attain light you must first face the darkness. This will be the time that the down fall of the Old World Order begins. What is to come after the Old World Order fall? The New World Order shall arrive, and then we can finally conduct the Venus Project. The video below explains what the venus project is and how it will be implemented after the OWO falls.

Free Market vs a Resource Based Economy

A FREE MARKET:

A free market is a competitive market where prices are determined by supply and demand.Free markets contrast sharply with controlled markets or regulated markets, in which governments more actively regulate prices and/or supplies, directly or indirectly.A free-market economy is one within which all markets are unregulated by any parties other than market participants.In its purest form, the government plays a neutral role in its administration and legislation of economic activity, neither limiting it (by regulating industries or protecting them from internal/external market pressures) nor actively promoting it (by owning economic interests or offering subsidies to businesses or R&D). A free market is not to be confused with a perfect market where individuals have perfect information and there is perfect competition.

Advocates of a free market traditionally consider the term to imply that the means of production is under private, and not state control or co-operative ownership.[citation needed] This is the contemporary use of the term "free market" by economists and in popular culture; the term has had other uses historically.

ECONOMIC SYSTEM:

To really understand the entire Economic system, you have to see it from a totally different perspective. Right now we live in a Society where Artificial Scarcity is everywhere, meaning that there is a False sense of Belief that there isn't enough to go around for everybody to use. IN a Free Market there is Ownership, and Property. In a RBE, it is a Self Management System, where almost everything is accessible and can be shared amongst the community, like Hammers, Bicycles, and Guitars. The only reason we are not in that type of system is because our economic system serves only a top portion of the Population hence "The Top 1%". The system does not support Economic Growth in sense if there was Growth there would be an Increase in living standard. So we live in an Anti-Economic System. A System that is based off of old idealogies, old beliefs, and old Structures. It Does not form a Free Society, but it forms an Enslaved Society. The Debt is another issue, we cannot continue printing money or creating money out of thin air and think that this money has any sort of value, when true Valued Commotities are Food, Water, Fuel, Technology Information, and Tools.

OWNERSHIP AND PROPERTY:

This notion that we need to own Property is an old term. it is meant to hold on to something as long as we possibly can without letting it go. That is either Land, Resources, Money, Buildings, or even People. Our Property is basicly a slavery word, because if you think about it, you are continously letting go of your stuff every single minute when you get up from using your computer, when you get out of your car, when you put away your tools, when you put up your bike. So we are only using our things temporarily for the time being, and For some who do not want to hear this, your things will disappear from your life some day down the line either in a week, a month, a year, or even 20 years. You will lose your stuff, because it always either gets recycled, trashed or moved to someone else or place.

Our things is a chain around our neck dragging our lives back from exploring a rich and wealthy world around us. We truly enslave ourselves on this planet. To truly understand Freedom we must see that it is our current old out dated beliefs and Values that keeps us enslaved. It is the way we see our Planet and it's Resources. We can either abuse it, and rape it's precious minerals, rocks and plant life to meet our own selfesh immoral greedy desires, or we can learn to work with our planet and the environment to balance out what we need when where and how much.

How to address the "Incentive to Work" question...

One of the fundamental social attachments to the monetary system is the inherent belief that money is the core incentive for progress and is why people work in general, which holds merit under a monetary system. But what about under a Resource Based Economy? What motives will people have to help/work on social and economic betterment under a Resource Based Economy?

Ninety-five percent of all people you talk to will tell you that without money, no one will work. And, "if everyone is provided with everything they need, they will sit around and indulge in their freedoms instead of work on important projects, required to provide that freedom."
Another popular response from many people is, "So all that hard work I did to earn all that money and buy all the things I need and want would all be for nothing?"

Lets face it. There is no possible way to avoid manual labor of some sort, no matter what type of economic system we live in. And no matter how automated our productions become someone will have to participate in the construction and maintenance of the very systems that allow automation and free access to be possible. This aspect of our discussions with people we may be trying to share information with can be the deciding factor in whether or not people will even continue to listen to you/us, at all...

                                                                                         * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This is a very fundamental topic of discussion when explaining a Resource Based Economy to people who aren't fully on board with TZM, TVP, or the perspective as a whole. It's hard enough as it is to try and present the monetary system as a social problem when talking to someone who may not be familiar with the Zeitgeist Movies or the Resource Based Economy perspective. So perhaps we can host a little brainstorming session here and post all of our best ideas as to how "incentive to work" will actually function under a Resource Based Economy and what will drive people to do the necessary tasks to construct and maintain the core infrastructure of the Resource Based Economy model?

Human Beings are naturally inquisitive. We have a natural tendency for curiosity and are eager for knowledge. I think this should be the target mindset when discussing a Resource Based Economy with people who don't quite believe that people have this natural ability...Far too many people are hardened to the idea that money is and can be, the only positive incentive.However, it only takes a quick look through our history to prove that this is not the case. Natural Human inquisition is a wonder to behold. When we look at the evolution of the Human species we begin to understand how inherent our inquisitive thoughts truly are. From the basic development of cutting tools by early Humans to help make catching food and eating easier to the harnessing of the Earths natural energies, like fire and electricity, we truly have a knack for improving our lives.

                                                                                        * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

All throughout our early history, we never required any type of monetary based incentive to seek this form of betterment. It is our deepest fundamental achievements that reinforces our persistent inquisition for greater good. Sometimes it seems all one can do is share this mindset, share information, express concern, and wish that everyone they make contact with experiences an epiphany. Our planet has enough resources to provide every Human being with food, a home, and anything else our creative minds can demand... We currently have the technology to create extreme abundance and provide basic necessities for free! We have the technology to provide ourselves with renewable energy production for thousands of years and we have, and can develop, technology that can completely eliminate mundane and unnecessary jobs. If we don't want to clean sewers, we can design a machine to do it for us!

The jobs that will remain will be of much more societal importance. Like medical care, food production, manufacturing, education, and anything else that naturally emerges as necessary. And even these jobs will become highly automated (they already are!) We have the capability to provide EVERYONE with a house, a car, free access to food and any other resource we may require or demand. The incentive/motive is simple. If you want better things you will still have to work to obtain them but the work will be more specifically emergent of our quest to create a better civilization. There will be a natural emergent work force that will build, create and provide things, simply because it's demanded. We always try to help people remember that, we're not starting from scratch. We still have all the technology, resources and knowledge we currently have. All of our current manufacturing processes and food production processes would still function. Grocery stores, shopping malls, and places like that would basically become the access locations instead of "stores"... Eventually people will just figure out better ways to operate these places and continue producing the stuff we want, simply because it's demanded.
